CINA Mark

All certified products bear the CINA Mark, indicating compliance with the strict performance and quality requirements of the CINA Certification Program.

Product certification ensures that products comply with applicable standards for safety and performance. While manufacturers are ultimately the ones participating in the certification process, certification is important to all of our stakeholders.

Manufacturers

CINA standards and certification provide industry requirement guidance and standardization, ensuring that all manufacturers are being held to the same high standards for safety and quality. Likewise, standardization reduces repetitive testing to secure technical acceptance by multiple LDCs, ultimately leading to cost reduction and more rapid market access. CINA is proactive in our relationship with LDCs, leading to broad acceptance of the CINA mark.

Operators (LDCs)

CINA standards and certification indentify and assure minimum levels of safe performance, providing for increased safety, reliability, and prevention. In addition, industry-wide standards provide concise guidance for small operators, who might not have the expertise or manpower to determine technical competence of individual products. With CINA certified products easily identifiable, there is a large pool of technically acceptable products that have met rigorous safety, performance, and quality requirements.

Regulators

CINA certification ensures that new products and technologies conform to cited standards, along with facilitating the safe introduction of new technologies. CINA advocates and provides for a standardized industry approach focusing on the prevention of incidents.

Public

The use of products bearing the CINA mark assures the general consumer that the provider has performed due diligence in seeking products that meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
